From the middle of the top bush that squashes the bar body to half way through the bottom bolt hole
360mm extended
300mm compressed.
they are easy to compress hard to extend but I guess the diff and leaves pull the shock away from the chasis.

I was going to use the hilux shocks in the stanza rear but we're about 40mm too short. They are air shocks from the front of a early 1990's hilux.

got these bilsteins new and cheap though off ebay. Perfect in stanza

Also interested to know about the hilux shocks if I ever need replace mine. At the current rate they'll probably fail from under use (rust bubble -> torn seal).

Are they any particular model hilux or are they all the same part number/spec for all hiluxes? I'm assuming they are for the rear of the hilux, but thought I better check?

Thanks for the input guys, I am leaning towards koni adjustable as there close to home readily available at the moment and will bolt straight in. Also have them in the front and am pretty happy with them.
