compression is same. you can use it. bigger port, bigger valves for more flow!

Hey guys just picked up a a12 turbo. Its still in the car and runs reasonably good as far as I can tell. Now im putting it in my 1000 coupe but ive noticed its still using a round port head. Im guessing I want to change it to a oval port head. I do have a h89 head sitting around. Would that be appropriate to use? Topgears a12 turbo ran a a14 head on a stock bottom end but im not sure if that's the same compression head. Can someone please advise :/ thanks
