Yeah looking forward to running it on the dyno again, havent had it on there since about 2012, she made 56kw.

So just finally, that dizzie (one from ebay) is good to go? order it and tell the boys to fit it no sweat?

if you get a re-make then factor in having it dizzy-dyno'ed

i got one (not sure on seller, it was years ago) and had it dyno'ed, apparently the mechanical advance wouldn't return and the timing was pretty horrible

actually it's not a bad idea for any dizzy to get it remapped if your looking for performance anyway at about $100

so the one from ebay is a remake of the hitachi D4R? And will fit if I just take the gear off my original distributor and fit it on the EI dizzie? Right? From what ive read thats all you do(plus modifying the bracket) and she just slots right in. The one from ebay looks like it wont fit (shaft too short) ?
Alternatively, Ill post a wanted ad in the classifieds for this, none are going at the local wreckers.

Hey guys, Ive had the hotspark in my car before, liked it, want to go with electric dizzy tho.

Just had my mechanics order an e15 dizzie from SA, it got there and I dropped the car off for them to install it, among a few other bits and bobs. Turns out the gear is literally a square and they couldnt install it at all. So was it a case of the wrong dizzie ordered or what? Is THIS an e15 dizzie? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NISSAN-B11 ... ash=item20d9631126&_uhb=1

If I were you I'd by cylons' kit. (I did)

60 bucks for a points replacement kit. You can even leave the dizzy in the car while you're doing it!

Jump on it quick.

I've you're a bit of a tinkerer and would prefer to use what you have, I have a spare ignition set that I could sell for $60.00 delivered. Mind you delivery takes three weeks.
