Thats a sr20de which wouldnt be too bad. I think the inlet manifold plenum are different between s13 which is bottom style and the s15 is top style

Surely this is not engineered ? Standard master cylinder and no sign of booster - not something I would want to drive ...... Cheers.

Street use .....
I'm a Aussie living in Nz so I can engineer a sr20det in a 1200 ute no problems ..... Just was concerned that a s14 won't fit in a 1200 ute because of the plenum !

the sr20dets share alot between them.
i,e the same engine mounts will fit an s13/s14/s15
You can fit an s15/s14 gearbox to an s13 and vise-versa
The difference btw a s13 sr20det engine and s14/s15 is the vvti. The engine has a slightly different shape at the front but that shouldn't make a difference in a 1200 mate.hard to explain but wouldn't matter in a 1200 ute or in a silvia.
they are so many s13 running s14/s15 engines.esp conversions from non turbo to turbo.
Is this for a road going car or strictly race car? check with the engineers of ur state on how to proceed ifs its a road going vehicle.

Good point !
Have been researching and have read that it is a tight conversion .... Between the brake booster, the strut tower and the plenume ? I haven't seen any 1200utes with the s14 in them

hey mate, if u can fit an s13 sr20det, u will be able to fit an s14/s15 sr20det no prob mate. all are good motors.just some people prefer s13 sr20dets for tuning due to their lack of vvti "complications" when tuning.a couple of s15 owners run the s13 sr20dets in their cars. same as how some prefer 2jzgtes non vvti to 2jzgtes vvti due to tuning... cheers

Sorry probably not a good description ..... What differences are there from installing a s13 sr20det to a s14 sr20det ? I've heard that you can only fitt the s13 ? S14 won't fitt ?
Thanks
