That doesn't sound so bad.
Thanks heaps.
Id like the job at pennant hills but that extra travel time would get old quick.

I've been experiencing 'the riff' on and off for the last 5 years as I stole my wifey from there and rescued her from imminent danger, but it's about time to make a move for a while as she wants to go back to uni.

I travel from penrith (or the riff as you will come to know it) to castle hill (norwest to be precise) every day and taking the back way through mt druitt (or the ghetto) and onto the m7 then sunnyholt road up to windsor road it takes me about 30-35 mins.

Pennant hills road is a nightmare. Taking m7 m2 it will take you probably an hour to an hour 15 mins.

Cheers
Trav

Yeah it does, maps says 40mins, really not looking forward to travelling so far, here I'm about 6km to work and about 12mins haha makes for good sleep-ins

I've been keeping my eyes out for things closer to Penrith but nothing really around. Something might pop up closer to moving.

Im guessing it would tell you to take the M4, M7 for both castle hill and Pennant hill? its about a 50-60 min trip to Castle Hill from Emu plains, add 15-20 mins for traffic.

Pennat Hills is a bit further and usually more congested.

Im looking at moving to Sydney from tassie for family reasons and need some commuting advice so I know where to look for work.

If we move we'll be in emu plains, and jobs advertised that would suit me are in castle hill or pennant hills, I've used google maps to estimate travel time but I don't believe the times it says are very accurate with traffic.

So I guess my question is, on either a good or bad day how long would you say it takes to get to either of those places before 730am.

Cheers.
