Fwd engine I know, it has to be converted to North, South instead of East, West to allow it to run Rwd, not to hard to so I understand.

The March version of the Micra had a supercharger and a turbocharger on a 900cc little buzzbomb! Homologation special. I thought I wanted a Micra, no, I want one of those!

I dont know my Daihatsu's (i am proud to say) but I think its like a GX model Datto, engine tweaking maybe some suspension work. It has these nice twin brake lights unlike the standard model. Might be turbo Im not sure, I would have to look thru some old mags to find out details.

whats the deal with the de temaso version, whats diffrent?

Sorry that was Daihatsu Charade De Temaso (I think) or maybe a sooped up Proton Satria GTi.

RE: the carb instead of EFI. Thats what I did on my Falcon ute. I got a EB Falcon motor installed which only came out in EFI but my mechanic didnt have the brains to install a computer and all the EFI stuff so he bolted a Weber onto it. I have had a few setup problems but nothing unusal doing this kind of swap.

One of my probs at the moment is it runs a EFI fuel pump which pushes like 50kPa which is way too high, so I either need to get a special carby electronic fuel pump or a regualtor.
