Thanks to both of you! OK, so maybe I can buy ones for the sedan and cut them down. Will give that a try and let you know what happens.
Thanks again!
Marc

Scott's has sedan/truck/wagon front Quarter window weatherstrips. Nissan has them too -- About 1/2 the cost of Scott's. Buy from new-datsun-parts or Nissan Japan Parts Business.

No one has Coupe version.

Great question. Sedan doors are a bit taller than coupe doors .... reportedly the seal is about 1/4 to 1/2 inch too long.

Try these guys http://www.scottsoldautorubber.com.au/Datsun%201970-74%201200.htm . I think what you are looking for is the last item listed under "Glass" section? I've never bought off them but have the website saved for when the time comes for me to replace rubbers.

OK, I am restoring a 1973 1200 coup to new. Have found almost every part I need as either NOS, salvage, or good quality reproduction except one. . .those Front wing/vent window seals! (You know, those triangle shaped windows on the front doors that pivot opened) I just need the seal/gaskets. . . I have found them for every other freekin model they ever made but not the coup. So, here is my question. Can you buy ones for another 1200 body style like the sedan or truck and modify them? Can you get them from another model car and modify? does anyone have any ideas or know if they are being reproduced or available?

Thanks,
Marc
