Best option is to remove the bearing, read the stamped number on the bearing, and order that number from a bearing supply company. Do not tell them it is "for a 120Y".

120Y Sedan with disc brakes were originally fitted to 1976-1978 models. Check the part number stamped on the strut housing to confirm which struts are on your car.
The inner wheel bearings should be 52 mm O.D. Type 30205. The same as 1200 inners.

Hi All I have a datsun 120y sedan with tokico front disc brake calipers. I am wanting to replace the inner wheel bearings. The bearings I took out have a outer cup diameter of 50m I think I don't have them here to double check. I have been dealing with a very helpful bearing supply shop who are unable to provide replacements. The reason is they reckon a 120y with disc brakes has a diameter of I think I recall them saying 42m (to small)they also reckon a 120y with drum brakes has an outer diameter of 52m (to big)After checking over the bearings I took off they reckon they are a miss and match the outer cup is not as wide as the bearing and looking at this it is true they don't come together with a flush side edge on the bearing when all fitted together. confused yet?? I am lol. Is anyone able to provide any ideas or explanations to what the go maybe with my old bearings and also can anyone advise if the information from the bearing shop re bearing sizes is correct thanks for any assistance anyone may be able to give cheers Peter
