Thank you for your reply

NATS is the NISSAN ANTI THEFT SYSTEM (something like this). I think that it is some type of engine imobilizer, where the sender is on the car key. When the key is the correct one the ECU can start the engine.

Micra use to have it around here, so 200 SX possibly has it too.

Hello there again

Does anybody knows the answer to the NATS/imobilizer question that I asked in the other post?

Thanks

Ricardo

If you wanna break the a12 5 speed in a day then bolt it to a ca18det. I broke one on the a12 with no burnouts or circle work, 5th just gave out. Mabey it was wear, but anyway, even if it did fit, it is too expensive and too weak. The gearbox I use a rb20det import box, is nice and short and almost fits up thru the hole (10mm or so). It is on a ca18det bellhousing. Nt hard to find as they always break. The box was $175 from the impoerters, same price as they quoted me for a ca18det box. As for the weakest link, I am using a stanza tailshaft, $40 from the wreckers.

good luck
mely

I have always beena big fan of the coupes.
And my mum used to have a 1200 wagon. So I don't like them becaus eI always think of them as "mum's car"
SAme as with RX2's cos my mum had a Capella and I think they are "Mum's Car's" as well...

But anyway. If the wagon is straight then I would go for it. Could be hard to find parts though. Also you could fit more stuff in the back. (Who hasn't been p|ssed off with trying to fit something big through the tiny coupe boot, or having to fold the seats down and pass it through into the boot that way?) It would be different.
There is a nice looking wagon in the next suburb from us. I might take apicture of it sometime and put it up here...
