oh yeah, ithink iyour right if its 1980+ you dont need to do it, but as its borderline it might go eitherway, anyway i think you may be able to get away without the plates in that case i didnt realise you said it was 1980 before

For the 1200-to-A14 motor mounts, see Gil's left motor mount and Gil's right motor mount. Thanks to Dimlight for the photos.

But don't you not need the adapter paltes because your 1200 is a 980 model? Someone back me up here! It has the laternator on the left sid eof the engine right? Which mean no engine mount adapters needed... Right?
Someone confirm this for me so I can sleep!

Nah stuff it I'm going to sleep....
2am is about bed time....

you gotta make the plates!
i still havent found em im so sorry i might go do it now

in melb:
a-14 at centre road self serve (clayton i think or somewhere near there) (1200 coupe or sedan, nissan section)
a-15 pick pay and go in heatherdale road heatherdale (1200 sedan-dark blue back corner pre 70's vechicles)
thats just what ive seen at the couple of wreckers ive been to, i know theres still the a-15 but havent been to centre road for a few weeks, i would think the a-14 is still there

Mate that 1000 wagons not much good anymore! Didn't you see all they do is pile all the other sh@t in it now!

The 1000 has been there for ages I got a good tail light lamp off it! ( Suprisingly it was the side that I needed as one of mine had a few minor imperfections)
I can't belive how long they keep sh@t there for even if it has nothing on it!
I got the lens over 1 1/2 yrs ago now!
I keep telling Mick there to try and get some different ones, but I supose it is what is around at the time!

Oh yeah if you have a 1980 model 1200 then you wont need to put the adapter plates in to fit an A14/15 because these already had the newer engines.

popped back into the pick & payless at blacktown again today,(just passing, saw the light on),& they have 2 a15's in vanettes as well as the a14,so you have a choice.there's also still the 1200 coupe & a 1000 wagon as well, plus plenty of stanzas & 200b's to get the brakes off of,& a scorched 1200 ute.don't know about melbourne, though.the address for anyone interested is tattersall rd,blacktown,on the corner, next to the sims metal yard.
