Ebrahim, I'm not sure what is the symptom
* "If I bleed the back brakes for on my master cylinder with my brake pedal pressed in, the pedal goes down to the floor board" * "if I try bleeding the back brakes from the master cylinder, then it stays the same"
Can you give more details?
It is common for 1) a new master cylinder to be defective and 2) for the master cylinder pushrod to need adjustment

A club member asked: Quote: Hi Guys I need help with my datsun 1200 original stock standard brakes. After installing a new master cylinder and new brake pads... For some reason, the front brakes are not working but the back is holding very very slightly. For example... If I bleed the back brakes for on my master cylinder with my brake pedal pressed in, the pedal goes down to the floor board but if I try bleeding the back brakes from the master cylinder, then it stays the same. Please help me. I'm sitting with this problem for almost a week and no mechanic is able to help me.
Thanks Ebrahim
