Hey Dgonzal, soon I will be getting the pics(yea right, you said that a million years ago...) my procastinating bro will put them in disc format, his own and mine will come around. There is one at the border that got impounded, and I got my eyes on it, it will be part of my Datsun empire!

Patience, will not dissapoint.

Hmmm ... maybe we could trade: a prime Northwest early Datsun for a South American 1200 ute in good nick? sounds too good to be true.

Look here for 411 ads: Northwest Datsun Enthusiasts classifieds. They show up occasionally.

DGONZAL, Hy.If you ever see something like that, pre 73, let me know, I want one Datsun , pre 73, free from smog crap in Ca, so I can convert into a street rocket. I have this adicction to buy old datsuns, when will it stop? I got to buy a lottery ticket, I need to get myself a large piece of land for all these projects I want to work on.
Someday....

Those Datsun president are a collection item, highly prized, those where made for the Japanesse emperor and the japanesse embasies only. One of those , in excelent shape, in japan, man! you're talking big money, it was an emperor's meant to be car, big money. Besides, I agree, I would like to have one to cruise around, power and style,I am far away from those cars, (US), I recomend any of you guys around, jump in!

Oohhh... the infamous Nissan President V8 sedan. I'd give my left nut for one of those. I don't think it'd be a great tow-er, but it'd be a NICE cruiser.

On the subject of old, cool Datsuns theres a guy up in the Blue Mountains selling 2 ex Japanese Embassy Datsuns. Electric f & r seats, windows, separate air conditioners etc etc. Early 70's with factory V8's. Be a great tow car for the 1200 race coupe.

Surprisingly, here in Seattle over the last year I've seen more 411s on the street, and more for sale than I've seen 1200s. Somebody was even selling one in museum-quality condition.
