I HATE suv's and 4x4's. SUV's are for soccer moms and dads.[you know the type] There's a bike a beachball all the beach toys etc.The car is packed with snot nose little #OOPS#ers eating ice cream and pushing their little dirty brat faces against the windows fighting over the ipad. In S.africa all the dumb A-holes use them --just check out youtube ---check how many have been chowed on or eaten by lions or stomped on by elephants --all suv and 4x4 drivers ---WHY? --cos my car can go anywhere and do anything but they don't even know how to lock the doors[see lion opening door youtube] Don't get me started with these suv's and 4x4's pushing in.When i drive with my freightliner i want to open him up like a tin of Sardines ---just catch him with the wheel nuts works like a bomb. The marks are like a useless tin-opener cut -clear cut-clear cut-clear. Anyway just give an AWD subie or a nissan like the one they WERE going to sell

I just saw a commercial which say the Nissan Rogue is the best selling SUV in America. Is it a popular choice where you live? It seems rather conservative to me (I was going to say boring, but it looks OK)

Looks a bit like the CR-V from this angle, although the nose is pure Nissan

the new datsun 1200 possible efforts clearly illustrates whats wrong with Nissan or should I dare say the latest JDM cars :) the glory days of the 60s and 70s dattos is long gone unless you own one or more :)). Save that old datsun, look after it and watch it take up most of your free time !

edit: and work time thinking about them

Holden do the same thing, year after year, - just like Ford.
If you ask me, Holden and Ford are poor-quality Aussie garbage. And i'm 100% Australian..
Then you have HSV and FPV, and what do you know, they are exactly the same but they are terribly expensive..

You've got a point.

I would say though that the fit and finish on VF is much better than previous models, it's still not as good as say Audi or BMW, but Holden has at least gotten closer to VW in this department.

As for quality I would say that mostly steams from poorly built imports, the Cruze and Captiva and Colorado are pretty terrible in this department unfortunately. It's hoped that the newer Vauxhall imports will do better in this department.

If you are just talking Commodore though, I challenge you to find something with as good value for money as an LS3 powered RWD SS. When they're on sale they sell for $42,000!

Aren't we just discussing styling now? I don't know that I see anyone arguing...

This argument is futile - no ones right or wrong - it totally subjective!

STYLING = personal TASTE

You cant tell someone that dosen't like the TASTE of tomatoes that they TASTE delicious. End of story

Thats what makes different styling so great - there's a taste for everyone

my 2 cents
dp

Well said, end of argument.
