I'm going to have it engineered to suit the turbo setup anyway so that doesn't really worry me. I doubt I can engineer stretched tyres though!

185 60 14 will fit.
+13 will clear strut I would think.
If you are worried about tyre warranty id be more worried the going 2.5+ inches wider per wheel isn't legal unless engineered.

1 inch wider than stock max in aus. Pfffrt.

Just do it. Check aus tyre websites. Some lust 195 45 from 5.5 to 7 inch wide rim.

All the negative comments about stretched tyres and voided warranties makes me scared. I do love the look that but I do want it to be safe.

The manufacturer generally only shows one wheel in a particular offset (usually the negative ones because they look better) and it's hard to gauge whether or not I'd be happy with a more positive offset. Been browsing the internet trying to find real photographs of Hayashi wheels and find the specific offset.

Wheels are Hayashi ST. Fronts are 14 x 6.5 +13 offset and the rear is 14 x 7 +7 offset.

which got me thinking. If I was to put a 14 x 6.5 rim on the front, I can put a 185 tire on it (within manufacture recommendation?). I now imagine the +13 is an issue with clearance to the strut?

The rear could sport a 14x7 +7 and run a 195 tyre which is also within the manufacturer recommendation?

If your really set on a look , get the wheels and tyres first, as sugested before, then work in the flares, wheel arch cuts, castor bars afterwards to suit - anything is possible and from the work youve done already , should look sweet

Looks fine, but it voids the Advan tyres warranty. The tyre was designed to fit on maximum of 7" wide wheel. If you want the look gotta pay the price

The sedan looks to me to be stretched even more than that

195/55 and 195/45 doesn't look overly stretched to me.

DDgonzal ute has 14x8 with 195/60 and it looks fine!

The rear wheel on this Corolla is a 14x8.5 with a 195/60 on it.

They look to be something like 195/45r14 to me. Although there is ALOT of stretch on those, they might even be 175/50r14.

Another thing to note is that those arches aren't just rolled, that's an entirely new arch from something like a mk1 Golf cut and welded on. If you want to run a wheel that wide, you might want to try ziggy's method he used on his green ute, although he went for 13x7, not 14x8.
