My best so far has been 16.5 @ ~86mph or so, that was Aug. 2002 in Texas so it was pretty warm out which didn't help at all. That's through the muffler on a stock rebuilt A15 short block (crank/rods/pistons), 2x40 Dellortoes, headers, mild cam (229 dur @ .050", .414" lift), lightened pushrods, and some head work. Also has B210 3.90 one tire fire rearend, so I was spinning through all of 1st gear.

Next time I go I should do better, I JUST finally beefed up the ignition (MSD-6AL, Accel 8.8mm 300+ race wires, 210 electronic distributor), got an exhaust cut-out welded on, and an O2 sensor and A/F meter hooked up, and the car runs WAY different. I did a street start from 5-80mph in 13 seconds yesterday! The A/F meter however revealed that I do need a bigger idle jet, but WOT mixture is perfect!

The Lime green 2-dr sedan in the Photo Album did 13.9 in the 1/4. Not bad for a street-legal road car -- but then Texas cars are the fastest o' course.

Compare that to a stock 1200 Coupe: 1/4 mile: 19.6 secs @ 67 mph. Hang on!

Uh. My 1200 ute with A15 i dunno. Not real quick but.

Sorry I know your after 1200 times but my rotary 1600 did 12.0 @ 219 kph on a G-tech. Should be able to get a 10 on decent track and slicks. Will find out soon!
