Chris: A year or so ago I drove the pass around Chapmans Peak  and As I was about to enter Houtbay, I came across this old Nissan 1400 LDV that is kept on life support and given character using cable ties and limpet shells. For those not in the know, the Datsun 1200 and its later version the Nissan 1400 are legendary , do not die vehicles used by many students, delivery and courier companies, passed down from dad to son to grandson vehicles
