It's fairly easy to change the manifold gasket -- except for the four lower bolts that fasten the intake to the head. They are difficult to see:

I use a socket on a wobbly extension (12 mm socket)

The manifold gasket is 1-piece and is for both the intake & exhaust -- so you won't be changing the "intake" gasket, but the combo manifold gasket

You do not need to "pull" the exhaust manifold -- be sure to leave it attached to the intake manifold if it's the connected type. But in either case you do have to unbolt it from the head. Then pull the manifolds out away from the head, scrape the surfaces clean, slip the new gasket in, and torque it up
