i Have no clearance beteween horns carbs and bmc. Which floor pedals do you recomend for me? Please any ideias. I dont know what i can do.

I want put the carb horns, and i must remove the brake master cylinder under to dash, but i dont know what i have to do or parts i will to find. In Portugal it is very dificult to find new or used parts. Everything i bought were from Datsun 1200 members or ebay. Yesterday i went to junkyard and i cant find nothing.

I m searching on web (tilton or wilwood pedals but i must buy with 100% of sure? I will not give up my project, i want put my 1200 on road with better brakes (i have the s13 brakes discs calipers and brackets)

Your help is very precious for me...

Thanks

Luis

Sounds like a good plan

My understanding is that people use all kinds of brake master cylinders under the dash, including the stock one, wilwood brand, other Nissan masters, etc.

My carbs are Mikuni Solex 40phh, my bmc purge touch the carb. If i remove the filler bmc cup i cant resolve the problem. Im thinking to buy a BMC from RHD (because the purges are in the oposite way and i gain 1 cm) and move the engine another 1cm, and the bmc is 2 cm from the engine. Or put the BMC under the dash.

Tomorrow i il take measures and verifify if the bmc without cups fits under the dash. Do you know which bmc people use to fit under the dash?

Or i need to buy a diferent Datsun box pedals?

Thanks

Luis

Are those Dellorto carburetors? It looks like there is enough clearance as for the carburetors already. Just not enough for full-size air filters?

There are several ways to move the master cylinder
* Moved Over
* Moved Forward
* Moved under dash

The factory setup in LHD countries was to move the master cylinder forward

Move forward half-way for single carb

On some Nissan a much longer tube was used to move the cylinder even farther forward

Some have fitted Nissan Cherry remote filler caps with the stock 1200 master cylinder

There there is the under-the-dash method
