Best to buy a new master cylinder in my opinion. There are kits available, but my experience has been zero success with them. They always end up leaking (unlike cast iron masters where kits often work well)

That Booster is not a 1200 unit. It looks like a B210 Brake Booster or maybe a 180B unit (they are almost exactly alike)

Please see photo of my brake master cylinder for the ute.

Is there a rebuild kit out there that I can fit to replace all rubbers etc? or best to buy a new one?

$135 for new one.

I have fitted the steering box to the steering column in the ute, I found that the steering wheel will only turn slighltly but the steering lock is on, BUT if I turn the steering arm on the bottom of the steering box where the tie rods are I can swing it 180 degrees no problem?

Is this normal or have I assembeled it incorrectly?

I cannot seem to find a xray view of a datsun 1200 steering box in Tech Wiki to work it out.
