If someone wants to sell me a 60 series 5 speed in good condition for $800 get in touch.

definitely, in Aus 60a 4sp generally sell for around $200 and the 60a 5speed is 800-850
56a 4speeds = $50

Don't mean to put my 2cents in but a 60series smooth case 4 speed is worth about 150-250...There not that easy to find and if u actually look at the specs u can actually use some of the gears for the 5 speeds...There is no way id let it go for $50...If your after one look at the sunny's as some came out with A14 and A15's but good luck finding one....

I have a 60a that is in pieces, was going to freshen it up but gave up. If anyone is keen to buy it let me know. I'm located in sydney

They are worth 250-300 these days as they are rare
and very sought after for track or extra hp A series
Rob has every right to keep it for 150-200.

This is the biggest issue with A series the little
choice for a budget 5 speed & have tried to see if
some1 can water cut or laser jet of a 5-6mm plate that
can be used as an adapter to a hilux 5 speed as these
are really the last 5 speeds that are available as the
rest are very rare now. If someone can make such a plate
even to suit an S-10 T5 the A series would be in joy.

Something like this plate is used on a turbo diesel
nissan engine found overseas the cd20et 160lbs of torque
output and the 6mm plate holds up well.

I will buy any working 69 series gearboxes for $50.

Yes it's got all that stuff but i have to say if you need photos to look at a 60 series box you need a new hobby.Given my learned 1200 friends have put between $50 and $150 i will not part with it at this point,way too valuable to my group if anyone breaks a race box and i only have 1 celica box on standby,good luck with your search
