I found the gabriel G44869 on rockauto listed for 1981 nissan 810. They were a measly 14 rollars each!

I was looking at least 250 for the oem ones from Australia.

These are different from USA 280ZX strut inserts. However the 280ZX and the 910 are using the same platform so they are similar. Further, you can use any 2" inserts for Nissan, Toyota, etc as long as they are short enough to fit in the tube and have an appropriate size shaft. For most you need a spacer in the bottom of the tube (e.g. large flat washers)

Aftermarket struts (generically valved) like:
* KYB 365013
* Gabriel G44869
are probably stiffer than genuine 910 shocks, but that might be a good thing if your 1200 has stiffer than stock springs or heavier than stock wheels/tyres

By the way, Nissan model series 910 was sold in USA as Datsun 810 (1981) and Datsun Maxima (1982-1984) which may help when searching for parts -- and most stores list these under Nissan

Or if you meant the A10 or the Blubird, those are different model lines from the 280ZX (280ZX is of the Fairlady sports car model line)

My research says they're the same as 280ZX in USA but I don't believe that is it true?

Is that model also considered a bluebird?

If so this confirms what the previous owner told me that he upgraded the struts to Bluebird. Do you happen to know the part number for the strut inserts I need to replace them thank you

2nd guess: early Datsun A10, Australia production. 910 uses a part or two designed originally for the A10, but most V93 parts seem to be for the A10
