Thanks Mic I may well decide to upgrade in the future.

Right hand side now also done. But ran out of time/light to bleed them up.
Will probably have to wait for the weekend now.....fingers crossed!

Went to ABS Brakes today and ended up buying the last two seal kits they had. Took a bit of measuring and searching to work out what seal kit I needed.

Should anyone else be rebuilding the small A10 Stanza caliper you should try and find the Protex K1184S. Seal kit.

Left caliper has been stripped down painted and re-assembled. One more to go 😅

The first time I had my Coupe the advise from Nissco for the brake upgrade I did was
Stanza struts - with 1200 upper spring seats
200b discs
Sumitomo Capipers (240K)

It all bolts straight up.

Looks like it has that combo again now.

I've found 3 different rotor sizes in my searches, 232 (on SSS), 244 and the 245mm.

I remember when I bought the Stanza off a work colleague (just for the struts and brakes) that I found it had 2 different size rotors on the front and the brake pads on one side weren't fully contacting the rotor...so probably had one of the 232mm rotors on it. I bought one new rotor to match them. Will measure them up tomorrow, but hopefully they are both 245mm.

The standard A10 rotor is 245mm diameter, 5mm smaller than S13 brakes. Fairly decent size

Thanks David. Yes the ones I have are the ones with the small rectangular style pad.

If the piston and bore are serviceable and I can get a seal kit for them I might just rebuild them. Otherwise the Girlocks would be an improvement. I'll have to measure my rotors as well, as I think there were three different rotor sizes on the Stanzas in Aus.

The early A10 brakes look to be stock Japan-built calipers with D146 pads (?) which are taller than the B310 type, which in turn are just a little wider than 1200 pads. So two sizes bigger than 1200 (but still not very big)

D146
Backing plate width: 63.3 mm
Backing plate height: 56.4 mm

The Girlock pads have a different shape
