Steve I'm running 200 main air jets. I've used them on my A12 making 73whp as well as the 99whp A15. The various tuning guides talk about how the air jets on FCRs work; I actually believe that is the main reason they make more power and better throttle response then other carbs.

One big problem with FCR carbs is if you go below a 200 main air corrector jet they run very poorly as the factory type emulsion tubes do not have air bleed holes and under a 200 MAJ the mixture control turns to crap and power drops of significantly.

The equivalent Mikuni flatslide carbs as used on many Harleys do not have the same issues, CV carbs are a great option provided whomever is tuning them knows how to use air corrector jets to jet not just changing mains, Idles etc

The manifolds on my car (one for each pair of cylinders) are made up of 5 parts; flat plate with tubular halfs welded together. The carbs attach to the manifold via what appears to be rubber fuel filler hose.

Plenty of cv bike carbs will run quite as well on A series
Had 28mm old flatties that ran beautifully on A12 1270cc
Bike tuner got me out of trouble on all my arc welded 1990s
efforts as I had a few glazed bores with my overfueled tuning!

yeah I can only guarantee that they come with factory base settings and jets for an A12.

less though. $3500 just seems so astrinomical.

$1300-$1600 for the new Carburetors and I produce those manifolds for $500-$600. Maybe there is other stuff I am not seeing.
