I'm going to get myself a cheap digi camera and go over the car from top to bottom as I rebuild it.
There is already a pic of the chassis and my car on this site in the pic album. This is from its orig build by the former owner.

whats so special bout my throttle linkages?
i havent really looked at others

im thinkin a-14 is better for racer, a-15 for turbo

but it depends how you drive and what your using it for

i like a-14 cause it revs harder

but some people have said they get a-15's to rev hard, though i think they are pretty expensive engine builds though

a-15 i think is good for turbo because more torque should allow reasnoble off boost performance for in traffic and the extra cc's dont hurt either

then there is the mighty a-12, well it looses in both departments

michael

i did not have a choice in engine, I bought the car from n.s.w. sight unseen. i knew it was an a15 built by john and jeff taylor for john boston to run the state rounds up there.

my last 1000 coupe had a mild a14 with twin hitachi's and i loved it. I guess i went the bigger capacity option based on the a14's performance.

having said that the a15 is chalk and cheese compared to the 14.

85 kws at the wheels doesn't sound much but at 500kg it is leathal... just ask cam (cm510....sr20det)

whats you take on the a series.

p.s. i love your throttle linkage setup, did you buy it like that or have someone do it??

cheers
