1200rallycar meant "tougher gearboxes arnt cheap" down under, but in the US they are available inexpensively.

lil_dato_hash, where are you? If you have an A12 and don't dump the clutch or do burnouts, just put a stock 4-speed back in. It's tough enough for spirited driving, but not tough enough for abuse.

p.s. tougher gearboxes arnt cheap, and arguably dont exist without conversion

its pretty striaght forward, everything you undo taking the first out, make sure you redo when putting the new one in, where are you? maybe someone could help

Howdy, blew the gearbox, today on my 120y, i was wandering iif anyone knows the procedure, to slapping in a new one... or would it be better off putting a a tougher geearbox, please help, as i need to get it back on the road... and i got nightshift this week, and hatecatching trains on the bankstown line...
