Thats right L18-B110 they do look very simaller to mine only differnce being mine are riveted straight to the body without the little rubber strip. I had to file fit them.
I got mine from JTS in sydney years ago for around $160 the set I have a spare set but most are damaged a bit from being on the front bouncing off ripple strips aint good for them.
cheers Andrew

Some may not realize the pic is from the Photo Album. It's Ben Cox's "kiwi coupe'de'etat" from FastFours

that 'black bead' is just some rubber edging. You should be able to get it from any rubber supplier. I have the same stuff behind my flares. still haven't got around to doing the rear flares yet.

Aren't these flares in the pic that tens_and_twenties posted the same as Andrew's (ca18det man) and Peter's (MYB110) ?

I can't believe how many auto parts suppliers there are in New Zealand! You guys can get anything local.

nzdatman, as to why your photos aren't appearing: this is due to a bug in the site ... if your photo ends with .JPG. Before posting, rename them with lower-case .jpg. For details see the discussion Photo Album problems - blank photos for the exact details.

hey guys what I know about computers you could write on the back of a postage stamp so please tell me, what am I doin wrong? I tried to upload a photo of my flares under the forum folder and it says 'we received your photo, thankyou' but then there is no photo, only a white box with the red square in the corner. What's going on?

I've got similar flares on my coupe. The radius is quite large for a 1200 though. I got them from a place called Fibreglass Auto Replacements and from memory they are in Warkworth. If anyone is interested I'll find out the address for certain, it's on the sticker inside the flares.
My ones are 75mm wide which are bigger than those in the photo but I think they also make them in 50mm. I'll try post a pic of my coupe to give you an idea of what they're like.
Price was NZ$150+GST for 4. Which must be dirt cheap for you Americans. Sent a cheque and the flares were on the doorstep next day. They're bloody strong too, swiped a bank at a gravel sprint and thought 'there go the flares on that side' but there wasn't a mark on them.

Has anyone tried the Showcar fibreglass parts? This US company currently lists flares for the 1200. They're listed in the Tech Section article Parts Sources.

Also see the reference in flares.
