yesterday i finally figured out why i got positive camber when i put stanza struts in
it seems blindingly obvious now but earlier.....
its cause i used stock 1200 springs and the stanza legs must be longer
where you guys all use stanza springs cut down and lower the car at the same time
i went for stock height but probably raised the car and therefore gave myself positive camber!
therefore i now realise you need to buy shortened heavy duty stanza springs if like me you dont want to cut the springs
but anyway, id like to go for 240k struts, is the camber adjustment very limited or is it possible to get maybe 1, 2 or 3 degrees still just using strut tops? cause you could still get rose jointed lower arms and do it yes?
i know its expensive but in theory...

I'm running the 240K struts currently, but they are a bit wide for the strut tower if I want to adjust the camber, and the 240K calipers fit fine to these.
I have tried in the past to bolt the same calipers upto stanza stuts but the calipers, foul on the steering.
Frustrating as it seems like a good combo.

I have just fitted stanza struts , lowered stanza springs,1200spring tops, stanza controll arms and raidus rods. it all bolted straight in except for the raidus rods, i machined the shoulder back 27mm it gave me more castor .the track has been increased. i run trx's they just touch my front apron. my struts have the girlock calipers i used the stanza brake hoses to. i machined the disks & fitted db1091 semi metal pads. i run stock rear drums ,standard 11/16 master,no booster. stops mad nowi did it all at work in a few hours very easy!!!!!!!!!!!

some people use 240Z strut cartridges (not the whole strut, but the replacement cartridge) with 77-79 810 struts . The 240Z strut inserts are shorter.

240K struts are alot shorter than Stanza struts. So they are not a 'bolt-in' replacement.
heathbruce, are you using 240K twin spot calipers on the Stanza struts? Stanzas only came with single piston calipers, although there were 2 types of them.

actually it doesn't really matter as long as the shocks are good.....you should ask a specialist as to what shocks can be matched with what springs....use 240k shocks with heavy duty springs. if they are standard springs use heavy duty monroes or whatever make...then they are matched properly... so they work together properly actually.

All I want to know is what disc rotors are you using...or going to use?????
240k struts have a stiffer rebound and compression ....especially if you use heavy duty springs it really stabilises the whole process and cures mid corner pothole bumps and the like....and speeds its endless.

yeah with the stanza install keep them the same way. you need the lower control arms you can use the standard 1200 castor rods but you'll need to put in washers up the font where they bolt up as your wheels will be right up the front. Or do what I did and use 120y Castor rods they fit perectly
