Tom,
I have recently had this question to ponder about and if you want to have the car insured the legalities state with NRMA that the wheels can be no more than 2" bigger in diameter and only 1" wider so that only allows you to go to 14" x 5".
hope that helps

I had mine engineered with 14x6 thats as wide as you can legally go and because I had upgraded brakes ect it needed 14" rims to clear. Migth be able to get away with 15"s it depends on the engineer.
Cheers Andrew

I think, that unfortunately the answer is 13 inches...
1 inch up from the biggest wheels that your car came out with.

I'll find the link for it...

I am quite sure that, the rule is the overall circumference of the wheel must be the same as the original tyres that were on a 1200 and with width it's about 1.5-2inches?? I could be wrong, I'm fitting 16x6.5's not really caring about legalities
cheers
