On Datsuns 1200, the auto and manual use not only the same drive attachment, but even the same gear ratio (same number of teeth), so the gears don't need to be changed. Only the 1200 wagon/van uses a different gear.

Hi guys I have a 120Y farm hack http://www.geocities.com/flgnowbla/defect.html currently it is an auto but I have all the parts to convert it to an manual EXEPT the speedo drive, is the speedo drive the same on autos and manuals? (yes I know is a farm hack but I like to know how fst i'm going!), later
