ol, no need to import into Australia! OZ likely has the best availabilty of 1200s for sale of any country right now. They are probably 100 times more 1200s in OZ than in the US ... although that 1200 SSS for sale in NZ looks tempting.

Yeah I saw that ad. I want to modify a fair bit for a quick streeter (CA), and i would never wanna touch such an original condition 1200!

Does anyone have any links / info about imports into australia for 1200s??

If you can convince that Nick Camplin fella in Adelaide that you'll look after it, you might be able to buy his mint 1200 coupe with 19,000mi on it for $5500.

See the ozdat classifieds for this week.

I'd like to buy it..but 2 Dattos are enough for me. Storage is the biggest problem.

Chris.

to phisically move the car is relatively cheap, it's the red tape e.t.c. at the Australian end that usually cost or stops things i.e. import permits e.t.c.

Check those out & if you can work your way through those, I can get the pricing for the actual move easily (i.e. I've done it heaps!)

Depends on where you are. From Australia to Portland Oregon, USA can be done by an importer for $5,000 or less (above initial price of car). From Australia to England might cost more.

Don't we all want one without rust!

There are some nice sedans for sale in New Zealand right now ... look in the Classifieds forum for the link.
