This is a messy setup to get right ... in fact you never will :( I did a similar thing with a turbo on an L20B blowing through a 48mm side draft dellorto.
You may want to put a fuel pressure guage in so that you can check that the fuel pressure is always more than the boost pressure. If not, the greater pressure in the carb will prevent fuel from entering. I used a second hand injected volvo pump.
Next problem is mixtures. Injection systems can tolerate small changes in air densities and change mixtures to suit - carbs can't. You are pushing high density air into the engine so you will need more fuel. The carb will only add more fuel if the volume of air passing through it increases. It will not measure the air density.
You will need to rejet (drill jets?) your carb to suit. Best way to do this is with an exhaust gas analyser to check mixtures under a variety of driving conditions.

Good luck.

Ive got no probs with boost, only fuel/carb problems, have bypass valves setup so that they close just off idle and dont open till i back off.

am thinking injection, their is a version of my motor that is, and thats my long term goal, but at present just want to get it running.

Shoot....just read your post properly again...thought you were talking about boost pressure, not fuel pressure :(
I'll shut up now!

You have said you are lacking boost..that shouldn't be caused by fuel supply. You have either got an air leak somewhere (Between the s/c and the carb) or your supercharger isn't big enough. I would start by checking out your blowoff system....make sure the blowoff valves aren't passing air when they're not supposed to.

I'd reckon an old V8 style Holley pump should do the job.. You need volume..not pressure, so using an EFI pump could be a bit tricky. Using silver solder or brass to get petrol in, is a good idea. But you're still going to face problems with getting choke and throttle cables in. Even if you have some leaks, it doesn't matter too much, so long as it hold 5 or 6 psi for 5 seconds or so.. It's not like an EFI engine where the uncompressed air is measured with an AFM, and leaks mean big mixture problems.

I'm a fan of EFI, so I'd be adapting the throttlebody and injectors from another donor engine, like a $200 blown up CA18 or SR20, and getting a 2nd hand fuel only computer.

Sorry, I've got no supercharger add-on experience, but we have a couple of dudes here who have, and there's been a few threads discussing this. So have a search on the left.

Chris

Am fitting an sc14 supercharger to my 4y-c 2.2l toyota hilux at the moment (blow through)

am having alot of trouble with my carb and fuel pump.
bought a cheap ecco fuel pump and a malpassi rising rate reg.
pump cant supply enough fuel, any ideas on a better hopefully reasonably cheap fuel pump. that will supply at least the 12.5psi the charger will do

am trying to use stock carb, havent yet boxed it but will no doubt have to, at present i get 3psi boost for about 5 sec then it runs out of juice. ideas??

am running 2 bosch bypass valves.

want to keep system blow though and try to keep stock carb or use weber 32/36 dgv or one of the 34 adm's off falcons (would falcon one work ok) wanted to try and get by without the box (room and lotsa pollutuion gear issues).

will try and post some pics if they work.

I am new to this forum and to supercharging so any help would be greatly appreciated.
