Non-turbo 12A... easy engineered. I'd say it would have went through with a standard 12A but, as it would be hard to get a bridgeport to pass pollution/noise tests.

But yeah, like damo said 13B turbo is a different story

Thats the impression I was under but...... After talking to Mazfix, they could put a 13B turbo in my coupe, only they would wanna put a 300kg counter weight in the front and upgrade brakes before they would give an engineer cert. So be that what you may, it can aparently get approved.
Cheers
Damo

Found this in the trading post....

DATSUN 1200 SEDAN (DATLDO) 12A Bridgeport, Weber, Gilmor drive, 4 wheel disc brakes, Weld wheels 15 x 3 1/2 and 15 x 7, full autometer dash, new interior, fully engineered, nothing to spend, must sell, $10000 LIVERPOOL 0410-68 5149

Now, I was under the impression that this kind of conversion could not be engineered? Correct?
Anyone like to fill me in on how this guy got his car engineered? Hmmm, might give him a ring even!
