Did you check the end gaps in the bore before fitting. If it was an old bore was the bore ridge removed before fitting the new rings?

Can any of you guys that are running 1,2 bar plus boost on yer engines tell me wot breaks rings (other than detonation).
Just can't figure this one, my bakkie/ute engine is in top condition, no wear in barrell/sleeves, no excessive static compression, good fuel above 102 octane, timing is spot on, no detonation that I can detect audibly, but the rings are nuked.....why why why???
