are you nuts! in the right hands su's are like fuel injection and they don't care about barometric changes like webers, del, or mikk. I don't think any less of those carbs I just don't like having to change jets every time a cloud passes over.

Oh man, for that price you should have gotten twin 40 or 45 Webers/Dellorto's/Solex's!!! They go a hell of a lot better than finnicky SU's and are easier to tune. The expensive part is the intake, but should be easier/cheaper than for A series, I'd expect $300-400 new. The carbs you can buy off Ebay for $130/pair! I would never go back to SU's after I put the Dellorto 40's on, only lost ~3 mpg's and I gained over half a second in the quarter mile.

sorry but I just bought them. I don't think I could go wrong as the guy builds them himself and can get all the parts. besides would yours bolt up to an L-series engine?

here in the states we didn't get any 4-cyl cars w/su's so getting them is expensive and finding fresh ones is a premium. these are fresh.

I have updated my avitar wit a pic of the 2.0 in the car

I'm planning on just that I have a set lined up but they are $600 usd and I will have to wait to justify the expense as far as the electronic dizzy I will be running an accell 300+ race ignition box hooked to a custom recurved dizzy I am hoping to see somewhere between 120 and 150 hp at the crank depending on induction.

expect to hear that I've bloan the diff soon
