Yeah. That makes sense.

I could be convinced to believe that. Just that the A12GX was out before the A14, A15..I wonder if there's an intermediate model with oval ports and the old style bolt pattern for the intake manifold.

I was under the impression that GX heads and A14/15 heads were all the same and the older A12 ones had a different bolt holes on it. One between each port at the top and the.
Wheras the GX, 14, 15 had bolt holes on each port on the outside edge of the group of two...
If you know what I mean...

I expect that it would.. but I could be very wrong. The A15 head and later model ones use the "more top bolts". As I don't have an A12GX head, it's hard to know what the A12GX head would have for a bolt pattern. Someone from here will know. We've had discussions relating the different manifolds on a few occasions. If the bolts are the same, then maybe the surrounding metal is enough to ellow you to diegrind the hole out to an oval shape.

thanks 89mm for your reply but yeah I know about the ports I've never not had a GX head so I don't know to much about standard heads. I just wanna know will a manifold of an A12 for a single webber (32/36) bolt up and seal. Are the bolt patterns much different?
Cheers
Damo

The GX has oval ports like the A14/15 heads.
Better to use A14 manifold if you can get one
