In Japan, GX models had twin carbs. Don't know what SA versions are supposed to have.

I can see someone adding a GX badge to a Deluxe, but not the other way around. So you probably do have the Deluxe.

thankz,the 1200 is a sedan one badge is on the rear left and the other is on the right,carb is only one and manifold is std.so this is a deluxe then?

Welcome to the club newguy. Is your car a sedan or coupe? Where are the badges? If it has one carb and a standard cast iron manifold then it is not a GX although it might have been at one point...

Hi,I am a 16year old who just got my first car today,yes it`s a 1200 datsun.But my problem is there is a gx badge on one side and a deluxe badge on the other.How will i know what body i have and what 1200 engine is in without taking off things as i have no knowledge of engines.
