170 PS is about 170 HP. PS is the standardized measurement, Porsches also used that previously. Now all US models are rated in SAE Net HP.

How much horsepower is 170ps?? Matsuoka has an A14 putting out that much power at 8400 rpm with these MSR carbs...

Anyone recognize these cars?

One of the most beautiful Skylines I've ever seen, only about $14,000 US:

I'm going to try to be the biggest help I can to the club and 1200 owners worldwide! I am going to have to work and have somewhat of a life outside 1200's though (not much) but I will do what I can! There are rules for sending things through the military APO mail system. I know I can't make any profit from it, that's one of the rules....but anyway there's ways around that. I will be in Tachikawa, at Yokota Air Base for 2 years. Anyways, here's some links of car dealers in Japan that have some desirable cars you may be interested in:

These are from a 2 yr. old Japanese mag "Auto Works" I picked up in San Fransisco a while ago, hopefully they all work. There were other places that had Sunny parts, GX hoods, mirrors, grills, bumpers, fenders, flares, spoilers, etc...but no online address given, just ph. numbers.
Thanks for the support from everyone too!

Good luck in Japan! Where about will you be staying? and for how long?
At some point I'll have to go to Japan for 14 weeks. Training for work. I'll be in Toyota City, which is about a half hour or so away from Nagoya.

Hey Andy, I see you're online right now. Can you be a contact for me in Japan? I'm still on the lookout for a '69-'73 Nissan Skyline GTR. If you can keep your eyes and ears open for me, I would appreciate it! drobesh@internet49.com

That Excellent sure puts a twist on my perception of Datsun 1200's...different grill, lights, rear....but still the beautiful lines of the coupes I'm used to. I don't know which I like better anymore! I've got a VHS tape with about 20 min. of Sunny's racing in Japan that my dad recorded when we lived there in the 80's...saw a couple bump each other up and even a rollover and I almost started crying! I'm moving to Japan in a few weeks, that warehouse is in Zama, which is only a few miles from where I will be living! I WILL find it!
