How bout an '86 BMW 528? It's robbing me of space for two more 1200's.

For $300 I'll keep it in the car - I thought it would be worth more than that, of course I could wrong.

The car has the Hitachi SU's , I don't know what the compression is but the motor still pulls 7800 RPM's no problem. Like I said it is in the car and runs sweet. I got the motor from one of the engine importers , My buddy who ports motorcycles cleaned up the head and put A14 vavles in it. It also has an adjustable oil pump from Neely. Current oil pressure is 60 psi.
I have no idea on price that is why I posted - what did the one on E-bay go for??

Small market. But I'm part of it. Float a price.

Tis complete - it powers the car at the moment. Mildly ported with A14 valves and an electronic dist.

This is difficult to say, since there is little market for them at this time ... there was one on eBay recently, and that's about it for advertised engines.

If it's a complete engine running good condition with the dual carbs ... it's going to be whatever someone is willing to pay

I got a call the other night asking about the A12GX motor in my car - well I have thought about switching back to US spec engine. Since I plan to do some Tarmac Rally the car must be street legal. It seems odd but here in Vegas where we are known for everything goes I actually have to smog the car. So I have another motor that will pass visual and make smog numbers.
So my question is what is an A12GX worth in USA?
