If you use the B310 5-speed (60 series), you will not need to beat out the 1200 tunnel. You just:

1. make a simple flat plate for the rear trans mount
2. Remove the backup switch from the trans
3. Use the right driveshaft

The A14/A15 mainly needs:

1. Swap the engine mounts side to side
2. Make a simple flat plate for one side to offset the mount
3. Maybe lengthen the exhaust pipe

Search the site for mounts plate, motor mounts, etc

will be going through the same process soon...have been told the gearbox tunnel...needs a bit of a beating/massaging to fit it in...thats a celica gearbox ne ways...i'm not 2 cluey

Hey guys i bought a 71 1200 the other day and i know that a could drop in a a14 or 15 and a 5speed out of a 74-78 B210 but I dont know the exact proceedures ive been told that i have to make special motor mount brackets is that true? if so how? also will the 5speed fit in perfect with out cutting up the Car? thanks guys
