the guy who bought my old ute came around the other day, he swapped a full set of trx rims with tyres and some cheviot turbo rims with tyres for a set of 14 inch stockies with 1600 hubbies. it looked pretty phat, but I think he got the raw end of the deal. (should of kept those TRX rims, GRRRR...)

What about using 13" wheels and making mounts to use the 12" hubcaps? I kmow it sounds weird but wouldn't be too hard, using some tabs or small bolts etc.. That would be cool, esp. with whitewalls for something different. Everyone has mags, go the sleeper look I say!

you should get some good looking 13 or 14 inch rims, its a lot easier to find tires for 13's and 14's. depending on cost, you should look at BBS

nah it isnt a big job putting 13" wheels on. but when it comes to putting anything bigger than 15" wheels then it gets messy

Go with the original wheel covers ... everyone has mag wheels, but you'll be the only one with the gennies. Unless there are lots of stocker 1000s in Tasmania.
