I can take some measurements of mine if you like.
Don't worry about lengths etc........if you go too long you won't get them in with the strut tower in the way.
Just do them the stock length as mass produced manifolds are

Ive just purchased a set of 50mm of off 1200relleycar and need to get hold of a manifold (for an A14 aswell). If anyone knows were i can buy or get one build please let me know. Cheers.

why dont you just buy one? I havent mesured mine but I'd guess its about 50 - 60mm.

Long runners on manifold is good for torque. Short runners on manifold are good for RPM

Desirable is a balance between the two, depending on your needs.

i want to install a pair of 40 dcoe's on my A-14 could you guys measure the distance between the head and base of the carb and let me know as i what to make my own manifold, correct me if i'm wrong short manifold give bottom end long manifold gives top end?
