my point was u could not just change the box you would have to modify the column to adapt to it

the galant would have a rack and pinion steering system and also a lot of "works" parts floating round like quick racks, so no you wont get that on a 1200 easy

On my rally coupe I have shorter steering arms on the bottom of the struts to make a quicker turn. I think it's just more than two turns lock to lock. Means I don't need a massive hand-over-hand effort everytime i go sideways usually just needs a flick off the wheel to correct.

Sorry not sure what they're off but the struts are off a Gazelle so maybe thats it.

but the steering column and stuff is diffrent,
it would be good though for the ratio obviously but also it should be easy to put the wiper controls and stuff on the steering column as i think the sunny has then there

That is correct... (ie less turns lock to lock ).
I don't know about actual turning circle, I am off the road and can't compare the 2.

Hi just wondering if there was a closer ratio steering box available for the 1200. Teretonga tells me that the B310 steering box has a better ratio for track work...(ie less turns lock to lock) anyone know??
