Oh my god. I have a "bone" already.
Pump up the tyres. polish the paint & a couple of seat covers & it will be ready for some action in the engine bay. With it's original 1200, 60hp engine, complete with three on the tree, it must have been a real,.... ummmm,........ errrr,.......slug. Particularly with a load.

Still, fix it up with some contemporary running gear, some paint, & a set of mags & it will make a great shop ute.
Even an L20B with 5 speed from a series 2 Bluebird would be a quantum leap foward for absolute minimal outlay as the whole Bluebird can be bought for sh**

What makes me feel old is,the fact that,..... i remember them new.

I am about to purchase a 1200 extra cab ute tomorrow morning. I came across it today and made an offer that he is thinking about tonight.

It is a 1965 U 320 1200 cc 60 hp J12 engined extra cab with all badge work hub caps and tarp, but minus engine and box. The body is really sound with small areas of easily fixable rust. It is a true 4 seater with open out rear windows and fold forward seats.

Does any one on 1200.com have one of these mighty machines. Please PM me with any contacts.
