Here is what my 32/36 has. It ran fairly well on the A12 and A15, except for off-idle performance. I think it is too rich.

Weber 32/36 DGAV C3B 14010
Tag: 72HF KB B 3G4

Bores: 32/36
Venturis: 26/27
Super venturis 3.5/3.5
Fuel pump nozzle: 50 EW single opening (secondary not drilled)
Main jets: 132-partially blocked with very thin wire (cat-2 telephone extension wire)/135
Air bleeds: 150/180
Side jets/bleeds: 90/80 (80 has two holes-one side I blocked with wire)

Weber 32/36 jets

Are the side jets the "low speed jets"?

I too plan to run one of theese carbs on anA15 with a mild street cam so Im hoping someone out there in datsun land will have an idea what jets to use.
Ive got one for my supercharged A14 too but that wiil defenately be ajob for the dyno.
Every one of theese I have ever seen have had the original jets, and the plugs have been BLACK.

My fuels are 130/135 and you can smell the fuel when you drive it,I just haven't had the time to change them.
I di try a primary 120 (if my memory serves me well) and it stuttered all over the place,so i think somewhere around what you have will be nice.
If you have the cash get it setup on a dyno by a good carby guy..

okay... I guess I'm being a little hopeful then... Still, it can't hurt to be a little bit of an ideallist right ? Once mine are done, I'll get them posted. Maybe it'll help someone later on...

There are reasons why no one says what jet they are using:

1. They didn't write it down. We have to take the carb apart just to tell you!

2. Many people are running badly tuned carbs (you've seen them, belching smoke in traffic)

3. If your engine is modified (even different exhaust) the carb will take different tuning

I'm really surprised that given the number of A12 owners that would have a DGV on the engine, there would be something in the tech section about which jet sizes to use. It would save alot of time and energy...

So if there IS anyone out there who has a DGV and has it running nicely, can you PLEASE post a reply to this with the jet sizes listed.

apparently the backyard way is to keep going down in jet sizes and test driving until the car starts to stutter and then going back up 2 sizes

vaztr,
The 26 and 27 stamped on the side throttle linkage side are the Venturi sizes.

If you go to to the this site
http://hometown.aol.com/dvandrews/webers.htm
it gives an explanation of what the heck they mean in relation to your engine.

I got my adapter plate from my local parts store. I know Redline make one and somewhere like Autobarn, etc should be able to supply it.

BTW - I'm an Administration Manager, not a Podiatrist
