I bet more people go wrong thinking the other way though.

If the Nissan stuff sucks, you can tell them so, and get a replacement, many of the Taiwanese replacement shops will go "Oh well, what do you expect, it's cheap!".

I've been burnt. I got some guards from Taiwan. They look good, but they suck in my case...don't do it, unless you have an easy right of return for another panel if your one is not right first time.

Having other people point out the poor quality of some reproduction parts gets mighty repetitive very quickly.

Chris.

non gen=non quality some times it is better to pay the extra and go new and geniune

this isnt a good rule to go by as alot of aftermarket stuff is very high quality, alot of ppl go wrong by thinking this sometimes.

Speaking of Sunny and new tailights . . . I have 2 brand new later model Datsun Sunny left hand rear tail lights to sell as I'm selling the car for which they were kept as spares. Price from Nissan is $150+GST! - I'll take $75+GST ono.
If interested, e-mail me direct on steuart@optusnet.com.au

Sunny - Yeah the ones I got sound the same, the loom connectors were different. I didn't even bother changing the connectors over because as I mentioned the actual tail light assy's were that bad they weren't worth using.
I only used the lenses which weren't to bad (time will tell) and the chromed surrounds (very ordinary) they look good in the pics but they are crap!! Did I mention they are crap?

Kegs - I'm not sure what you'll get going off the price it sounds like you are getting decent ones. If I had payed that price for the ones I got then I would have sent them straight back
Hopefully yours will be ok

I think $110 is not too bad if they are good ones.
A word of warning about the cheaper $28 ones if they are the same as the ones I got.

Check out this post I posted while ago
