Thanks for the info. I've got similar components, stanza struts, nissan 4 spots. I'll be interested to see if the planned mods work.

Neil I bought the front brakes as a kit although I have changed the way they where originally setup for rim clearance. Originally the hub was machined down in diameter and longer studs fitted as the rotor fits over the face of the hub (the rim holds it in place) a 10mm plate with 4 holes. 2 to bolt to strut and 2 for calliper.
A bit of filing had to be done to strut for the plate to sit flat. The calliper sits forward of the plate nad two machined steel bushed and 2 highg tensile bolts hold this in position. You need a decent ofset rim to clear the calliper if you have seen a R32 GTS-t front rim you will understand (this is basically what the brakes are off.)
I know have a new set of DBA 4909 sloted undrilled rotors and plan to machine the center out and drill to bolt to back of hub this will give me a lot more rim clearance. I havnt done this yet but in my mind it will work :)
Ill keep you posted with progress Ill probably want to sell the stock stanza struts with r32gts-t rotors adapter plate shims ect soon. the rotors are second hand and have been machined . let us know if your interested.
cheers Andrew

Andrew

Did you fabricate the components for the brake strut setup or did someone supply them.
What are the rotors off, and what other mods did you have to make. I am keen to do a similar front end on my coupe.

Any info appreciated

Neil
