Holy #### Feral... I do all those things. As soon as there's a speck of dust on the car I get rid of it :D

Hi fellow datto freaks,

I'm exactly the same, i don't know why - i'm a frickin addict. I own three Datsun 120Y's, one with a worked A15, one with a Ca18DE, and the other is getting a L16 SSS. But i have so much fun with them, and i enjoy building them and going fast in them. I have enough parts for 5 120Y's.

Rob :)

p.s. anyone know how to get around the problem of when you have a lowered car and standard gas shocks just compress and pump up the car, i want some oil filled hydraulic shocks.

Datsun love:

1. Doesn't have to be justified
2. Means at least a 3 car garage
3. Having a garden shed full of parts
4. Having under the house full of parts
5. Considering putting plywood down in the roof cavity to store more parts.
6. Being nice to everyone you know, so you can store parts/cars at their place.
7. Old friends inviting you to a party, and you turn them down because you are in the middle of another Datsun project...they don't understand of course.
8. Daily ritual of various online sources.. trading post, yahoo, ebay sites looking for parts..

Maybe this is "Datsun Mania", but I'm sure that I'm not the only one here who lives like this..

DATSUN LOVE IS : -

1. Wiping the dew from your datsuns paint work in the morning with a chamois so it looks its best all day.

2. Naming your first child "Sunny"

3. Giving your Datsun an oil change instead of buying a slab of your favourite brew.

4. Getting home quick to to remove tar spots from your datsun after driving over new tar.

5. Seeing another Datsun on the road and waving.

6. Leaving your Datsun parked in a street, sitting back and watching people enjoy it.

7. Taking of from the lights, beating a V8 in your Datsun 1200.

8. Saving for that new part for your Datsun instead of taking a holiday.

9. Planning for your retirement collection of Datsuns when you are 21 years of age.

10. Fighting over who gets the Datsun in the divorce.

Love is a very personal thing!
