Green - Great choice

I just had my 1200 coupe painted a slightly darker green and despite the painters initial thoughts it looks really good.

Im not happy with the finish on mine so it's getting done again. Paid the $$$ and it's not up to standard.

Hope your happy with the result. Take care with the assembley.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the encouragement.

The car should be finished within 6 months, but I want to finish it sooner. Aiming for 3 months...It has been 3 years...

I'll keep you all posted.
The Colour is a 80s Nissan Light Green. I got it off a colour swatch at the painters. I don't have the formula yet, but I'll get it when I get the spare paint for touch-ups delivered to me.

Chris

I cant wait to see this finished. This will be one of the best if not the best sedans in the country. I wish it were mine.

Great work and good luck.

It is a good colour. It's a Nissan Colour..not some crumby Holden Colour

It'll look "spectacular" in the Sun. You can see little sparkles every 1/2 square inch or so, from the "White Ice" additive. The flouro lights are harsh on the paint finish, but it still looked good. It's not had it's final coat of clear yet. A light rub back is required.

I'm mainly happy that the project will be back under my control soon.

My Goodness thats looking fantastic. It reminds me of my second cars paint colour...the Crystal Mint of my Holden HK 307 Chev powered Brougham. I love that colour!!! I cant believe how straight it is and the consistancy of the gaps between the panels is superb. Good on you Chris. It goes to show that good things are worth the wait.
