There is some useful information on blow through engine specs, some carby tips & fuel system basics here: www.procharger.com/bebs.shtml

This info is for Supercharged Chevys, but the same basics apply to anything.
Enjoy

oh yea and as for carbies that work well in blow thru my preferance is a 32/36 webber, use the black plastic floats as they wont collapse like the copper ones under big boost.

u could use a cheap efi pump such as a camira one. cheap at thirty bucks from the wreckers. ct12s are a good little turbo, very grunty down low as they have a pritty small turbine housing, just dont wind boost up too far as the impella can dissintergrate. found out the hard way!

I am not trying to be smart about it but you say you are new to carbie turbo setups and dont understand it much. In the search button you will find this topic disscussed numerous times for the last few years. Everything you have just asked I personally know that I have written myself before in topics relating to this. If you want to learn more about a topic wouldnt it be best to read as much information about it as possible, a simple search with the word turbo brings up all the information and more for me. You mention your friend had a turbo A series and your engine used to be turbo, do you care sharing information about these?
I am happy to answer questions for you if I can but at the same time I dont wish to repeat myself over and over on the same topics as I tend to get bored.

Just a thought, Steve

i know this has probably been covered a couple of times already but i cant seem to find much that helps me out. and the "blow thru vs draw thru" thread got a little off topic. anyway im pretty knew to the carby turbo seen and dont understand it that much. i am about to start a blow thru carby turbo set up on an a14 without boxing the carby in, using a ct12 turbo. anyway i was wondering if anyone could explain or has good pictures of this set up which would help me out as in what goes where and what carby you would reccomend using, my mate thinks a standard jetted carby would be best, and is what he used on his? as i said b4 i know its probly been covered and i feel heaps annoying asking but if someone could help me out or point me in the right direction and spell out how it all works for me id be heaps greatful. cheers
