the reason why i choose E series is that motor reg will let me stick a non turbo E series in my 1000 without engineering it so if a cop pulle me over he can atleast see that the enging number matches the rego number. also how boring another sr, ca or rotary conversion. E15's arnt 2 hard to get 12's out of.

For panels you could try Spectrum Rubber. One of the blokes there has/had? a 1000 ute or coupe? I forget. They make body panels there also and I remember there always being 1000 2 door door skins hanging up above the counter. Maybe they might have some 1000 moulds outback if you are lucky, its atleast worth an ask.
Cheers Steve

It might be cheap, but after all the butchery, won't the car be worthless? There are quite a number of engine choices that will make a real car out of it, & the finished product will have actual market value, as well as intrinsic worth.
Well, thats my biased opinion.

considering that we dont know where you live, any advice would be a waste of time.

I dont know if anyone reamkes em, but the from the a pillar forward they are the same as the rest of range.

Behind the cab is all one piece, and flat mostly so just weld in panels to replace the rust.
